Tom and Dana Larson were used to winning. Tom was an advertising copywriter in the Denver area, producing successful ad campaigns for McDonald’s, Safeway, and the Denver International Airport. He got the attention of the advertising world with his “Normal People Like Us, Too,” campaign for the Denver Art Museum.
