31Creating Network Topology
From the pull-down menu, select Topology > Rapid Conguration…
When the Rapid Conguration window appears, select the desired
topology conguration from the pull-down list and click the Next button
to congure the selected topology. The topology conguration list includes
the following options: Bus, Full Mesh, Randomized Mesh, Ring,
Star, Tree, or Unconnected Net.
The Rapid Conguration window also provides an option to specify a
seed value for the random number generation. This feature is very impor-
tant since some topologies may require randomness for node placement
or other properties. To specify a seed, click the Seed button. In the Seed
Selection window, type in the desired seed value, or click Gene ...
