Wireless LAN Parameters is also a compound attribute and it consists of the
following subattributes:
• BSS Identier—species the identity of the BSS to which this WLAN node
belongs. By default, this attribute is set to Auto Assigned, in which case
all the nodes within the current subnet belong to the same BSS. If you set
this attribute to a non-default value in any one node in the network, then you
need to explicitly specify the BSS id in all the other nodes in the network as
well. In the case of roaming nodes, this attribute value species the initial
BSS id. As the node moves, it can become assigned to a different BSS.
• Access Point Functionality—species whether AP fu
