and skills to x any breakdowns in that ow before it reaches the cus-
tomer. Fortunately, the contemporary version of Machiavellianism does
not require that we eradicate our employees to achieve meaningful per-
formance improvement, it means we destroy our functional silos and the
associated thinking that blocks the ability of people to learn and to see
their entire end-to-end process with clear line of sight to the customer.
People are not our problem, lousy processes are. Note ABC Adhesives
did not lay o its way to performance improvement, it streamlined its
way there.
Brilliant process management is our strategy. We get brilliant results from
