Of all of the disciplines of theatrical design, projection design is the newest addition to the club. As a result, even seasoned theatre artists may be uninformed about the nature of projection design and how to collaborate with a projection designer. As a designer and an educator, I wanted to give the reader access to some of the “insider secrets” of those working in the field, from small professional theatres up to Broadway and beyond.
