Trick Line

The definition of trick line depends on who you ask. In general, it is a smooth, black, non-stretch cord meant to be invisible on stage and is used for doing tricks. It can move props, swing levers, pull pins, or otherwise trigger effects. It may run offstage through pulleys until it reaches a crew member who can operate it.
