and applications in Vista. Now let’s take a look at what makes all of this possible.
This key ingredient in Vista is its use of indexing. Indexing is what makes all of these
searches able to provide fast and reliable results. Indexing not only saves the file-
names and locations, but also indexes the contents within all the files in the folder
