INTRODUCTION
The next stage in the remix, and in many ways the most challenging, will actually vary quite a lot depending on which genre you work in. If you are working with a more minimal sound, there is far less detail to fill in, at least in terms of additional instrumentation. This stage in the process will be far more concentrated on making sure the sounds are right, the grooves are right, there is a good degree of movement and interest created from the subtle (or sometimes not so subtle) changes in the sounds through automation or perhaps creating some additional complexity through extra percussive and FX elements throughout the track.
