Stress is all around us. It may strike in the middle of the night or on our drive to work. Sometimes it creates a feeling of panic and anxiety; other times a sense of desperation and worry. It seems like we can’t escape and even if our stress strategy is effective in dealing with it one time, soon the stress feeling will strike again and knock us off balance.

Whether or not our stress reaction has a pattern, we want to develop a way to deal with stress as healthfully as possible. We need a cadence or rhythm to resilience that keeps us aware of potential challenges and how stress may affect us. Organizations can also help create this cadence.
