Don’t mollycoddle them

I bet there are some kids in your child’s class who are almost never there. Especially in the winter. They’re always off school for coughs or colds or imaginary allergies,* being wrapped in cotton wool by their parents. And when they are at school, they’re off games or swimming because they’ve got a bad finger or they felt a bit sick yesterday morning.
