You can’t fix everything

Oh, this is a toughie. What we parents want most of all is to make everything alright for our kids. If they hurt themselves, we kiss them better. If they’re in trouble, we help them sort it out. If they’re sad, we hug them. If someone is mean to them, we intervene.
