2 Lie-ability

When the intersection of Infosec and the legal discipline comes into view, it always appears as a sort of complex concrete beast, like my home town Oakland’s MacArthur Maze, or Birmingham’s Spaghetti Junction.^* It goes in all directions at once, has many layers, and you can never quite tell where each part begins or ends when looking at it from above, but one thing is clear: they are clearly intertwined.

* Turns out that there are many other similarly named spaghetti junctions, but I first heard the term in Birmingham (the one in the UK), so I am going with that one.

There are many reasons for this being a reflection of Security+Legal, but I put it down to two primary drivers.
