One of the most common complaints (or, rather, observations) that media engineers make about the enterprise IT systems marketed in the Media & Entertainment (M&E) industry is their relative unreliability. However, IT professionals may sometimes underestimate the importance of security and reliability in media systems (mostly due to inexperience in the field).
