Back in 2019 I was talking about this thing called ‘Skype coaching’ or ‘video coaching’ but nobody wanted it. In January 2020, I was coaching at Microsoft in Dublin, Ireland. We were introducing ourselves and someone in the room was trying to describe, with slight embarrassment, what they were working on. They mentioned this thing called ‘Teams’ and there was literally a snigger in the room. I asked what it was and they said, ‘It's the new Skype.’ It was the embarrassing cousin at a wedding that nobody wants to talk to.
How things have changed.
Now, the embarrassing cousin is throwing their own wedding and we all want to be there. Now, people are realising that Covid is here to stay and so too ...
