Eciency, customization, foresight, and connectedness are a service-
based project leader’s dierentiating qualities. Once the leap has been
made from project manager into the role of a service-based project leader,
sustaining this dierentiation is achieved by continual alignment of her
core values with the purpose of her project work. Although her core values
do not oen change, they can shi; she must continually nd commonal-
ity among her values and services.
