SO YOU ARE IN A LEADERSHIP ROLE. What do you want to get from it?

‘Well, that’s easy,’ you may be saying. ‘I want to be successful.’ Yes, of course. And how you define ‘successful’ might be very individual. If you work in a bank, or in a university, or in a hospital, or run your own business, your definition of success may be shaped by that environment. And it may or may not have a financial measurement.

You may also add, ‘And I want to enjoy my work.’ That’s great news, because in our experience, not every leader we’ve coached makes that point early on. Unfortunately some people assume that work won’t be enjoyable. Hard to believe – but true.
