The Elements of a Business Plan

Here’s a list of the components of a recording studio business plan and some suggestions on how to give it a little more sizzle.

1. The Cover and the Title Page

As on a book, the cover simply states the name of the proposed business. You can also include an abbreviated description. The cover might read:

The first page inside is the title page, with the name of your company centered near the top. Below, or down in the lower right-hand corner, names, addresses, and phone numbers of the principals are listed. It’s also wise to list your accountant’s and attorney’s names and phone numbers.
