Designer Karin Ekwall created the Åsta series of collapsible furniture as part of her degree collection. The table, bench and stool are made entirely of locally sourced sustainable wood and contain no glue or fixings. The pieces are very easy to assemble and disassemble without screws, nails or additional tools, and because they are simple to flat-pack, they can be transported with a minimum of energy.
