U.S. She often hand-dyes her yarns
before weaving the intricate images.

be highly sculptural and also deceive
the eye. Textile processes can also be
used for nonfiber materials. This piece
uses knit wire and cotton, showing a
great example of using a nontraditional
material.

collage to create three-dimensionality
to bring characters and words off the
wall. She often uses found objects and
repurposes vintage linens and lace on
which to embroider.
