Multiple synthesis

Abstract:

While earlier chapters illustrated the processes that use notation from various schedules and tables, this chapter explains the concept of the author’s self-coined term ‘multiple synthesis’, which states its use for classifying microliterature displayed in many facets. The progression of the DDC, from an enumerative system to a faceted system, has allowed the creation of several appropriate devices to aid in the provision of deeper classification.
