When we talk fonts we usually mean letters and numbers, but fonts are not limited to the alphanumeric. You can extend your typographic palette with icons. Of course, you’ll need to use the Glyphs paneI to find those icons. The Glyphs panel is available in InDesign and (in a slightly dumbed down form) in Illustrator and Photoshop.
