2. Short Text
In this chapter we’ll look at projects built around short passages of text: from posters and book covers to business cards and beverage labels. Across these projects the type will play a variety of roles, but in all of them it must be thoughtfully chosen and needs to work alongside the other elements of the composition: the photography and illustration. Even when the design is made exclusively of type, its color, placement on the page, and various other attributes must still be carefully considered.
