Developing a Low Center of Gravity

I grew up playing hockey as a defenseman. I was never the fastest skater or the most skilled. The one thing I was very good at was cutting down the angles when opposing players would come down, and try and score. Once I started playing contact hockey, I discovered something even more important—having a low center of gravity allowed me to knock down even the tallest player.

It did not matter how big or tall the player was. By combining speed with my power and coming it at the right angle, I was able to knock anybody over. As you can imagine, this came in very handy.
