CHAPTER 21: IMPLEMENTATION AND FURTHER DEVELOPMENT
Successful implementation and further development of an existing USD will only be achieved if the consequences of the adjustments, and therefore of the improvements have been carefully considered beforehand. This means that the project team responsible for the design and final construction of the USD must first take into account the environment in which the USD operates, and the parties involved. This requires management involvement and a strategic approach.
