George Bernard Shaw once said, “Youth is wasted on the young.” The Nobel Laureate and Oscar-winning playwright made a popular point, but I respectfully disagree. While it is true that wisdom derives from age and experience, youth, too, can be a tremendous asset. When we leverage our youth and attempt to make the most of the immediate years following college, we should be able to later reflect on this period in life as the time “when my life really started.”
