Chapter 5. Making Connections
The Zune is a fine MP3 player and a fantastic video player, and the sound quality (to my ears) is up there with the best of them, but a few more aspects of the Zune are worth discussing. The Zune can connect to an Xbox 360 via a USB cable, for example, and stream music and video to the gaming device—but not to be outdone, the Zune software on your Windows PC also can stream music, video, and photographs to an Xbox 360 on the same network. When this suite of features works, it’s impressive, to say the least.
This chapter looks at the Wi-Fi functionality of the Zune as well as its Xbox 360 connectivity and shows you how to get both features up and running.
