Long-Term Dynamic Group Therapy with Bulimic Patients: A Clinical Discussion

This chapter will present and discuss clinical experience of long-term group therapy with bulimic patients gained during the past 21 months at the Mass. General Hospital.*
These groups were intended to be run in long-term, dynamically-oriented treatment format. In this regard, they differ from most of the group work described to date, which has been largely oriented toward behavioral treatment in short-term formats.
