How to Master Any Situation

Much of my career has been empowered by what I call "obvious secrets."

An obvious secret is a truism that nobody pays any attention to. It's a life-altering fact that everybody learns and then forgets.

For example, here's an "obvious secret" that has helped me achieve my goals better than anything I ever learned in school: If you're going to master the task before you, you have to give it everything you've got. Always. Everywhere. All the time. All the way.

Obvious?

Actually, the number of people I meet in the business community who ignore this super-important truth is staggering. "Trying" for so many people means making an effort twice or three times. Not ten times. Or a hundred.

Or a thousand.

Whatever it takes.
