Abstract

The balance equations supported by the closure equations may not be suitable to calculate the evolution of certain two-phase flow processes or the performance of some components, which are relevant to the accident analysis of water-cooled reactors. For this reason, special models are developed and these form a supplement to the set of balance and constitutive equations.
