4Rectangular Flux Channels
In this chapter, we focus on applications of the rectangular flux channel in two or three dimensions. Significant effort in this area has been achieved in the research literature due the far‐reaching applications.
Typical applications include cooling of electronic devices both at the package and board level, and cooling of power semi‐conductors using heat sinks. In these applications, heat dissipated by electronic devices is conducted through electronic packages into printed circuit boards or heat sink baseplates which are convectively cooled.
