Words and Pictures
If you are familiar with Howard Gardner's book Frames of Mind: The Theory of Multiple Intelligences (1993, Basic Books), you will agree that most lectures—including the interactive variety—focus exclusively on linguistic and logical intelligences. Words and Pictures is an interesting format that capitalizes on participants' visual intelligence.
At the end of your lecture, teams of participants prepare two types of summary posters. Some of the posters utilize solely words and the others use only pictures.
