3 Listening Is Your Sure Fire, Go-to Career Strategy
In Chapter 1, we talked about how one of your most important strategies for launching a new job or assignment is to meet as many key people as possible and listen carefully when they’re speaking. In fact, if I could magically give you one super career skill, it would be listening.
By “listening” I mean you not only shut your mouth long enough for the other person to talk, but you also shut down the voice in your head when it tries to tell you what to say next.
