ABOUT THE AUTHORS

Alice H. Eagly is a professor, department chair of psychology, and James Padilla Chair of Arts and Sciences at Northwestern University. She is also a faculty fellow in Northwestern’s Institute for Policy Research. Previously she held faculty positions at Michigan State University, University of Massachusetts in Amherst, and Purdue University. She obtained her PhD from the University of Michigan. Her research and writing pertain mainly to the study of gender, attitudes, prejudice, cultural stereotypes, and leadership.
