Multitasking is a lie. There, I said it.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but multitasking just isn’t real. You might be great at staying on top of multiple projects concurrently in motion, but you scientifically cannot focus on more than one thing at a time. So, if you’ve ever told a coworker, boasted in a job interview, or noted on a résumé that you’re great at multitasking, you unintentionally told a fib.
