Waterfalls
If waterfalls, or any type of flowing water, are in your path of adventure, then there are a few things you’ll want to keep in mind when photographing them.
• Overcast days are best. We can’t control the weather, but it is always good to be aware of it. If waterfalls are on your agenda, try heading out when you think (or know) it will be an overcast or cloudy/rainy day. Harsh sunlight can make photographing waterfalls difficult for a few reasons. First, as with any other landscape image, if the light is directly overhead then the quality of the light will suffer in your photograph.
