So what's next? What can be done today, tomorrow, and in the months and years ahead to ensure that you, and the next generation of women leaders behind you, can take their long overdue place at the top table? It's all very well knowing that this is our moment to lead, with all the indisputable data points to prove it, but what matters most is how we execute upon that knowledge. How do we make sure that we seize this rare opportunity in history to build a population of senior women leaders who can influence and implement decisions that will not only result in a more representative workplace, but drive unprecedented economic success?

Thinking back to the many inspiring conversations I have had with women leaders while researching and writing this book, I am struck by the multitude of takeaways and actionable steps that individuals and organizations can take to move the needle forward on gender parity in the workplace. But the one throughline in all the stories they have shared is that we need to be bold. Whether you are an individual navigating your own career path to the top, or an organization's leader seeking to empower more women and underrepresented groups to do the same, you need to think in terms of leaps, not steps.
