1. Internal Flights

For domestic flights, the two main companies are Aeroméxico and Volaris. Low-cost airlines include Volaris (www.volaris.com.mx), Vivaaerobus (www.vivaaerobus.com), Magnicharters (www.magnicharters.com.mx) and Interjet (www.interjet.com.mx).

2. Long-Distance Buses

Buses are the main form of transport for longer trips, unless you rent a car or fly. First-class buses are air-conditioned and run between main towns with only a few stops en route. Second-class buses stop more often and are cheaper.
