Learning in the palm of your hand. What a learning dream! It doesn’t get any better than that. M-learning, short for mobile learning, refers to content that can be accessed on smartphones, tablets, cellphones, and some wearables. M-learning is most beneficial when you combine a small but critical (because there is either a time or importance requirement) data point with the ability to improve a skill. M-learning also gives you the ability to connect on-the-fly with your learners. This is exciting in our world. This future-leaning opportunity accomplishes several things:
- It allows you, the trainer, to provide updates, changes, or new information.
- It offers you a chance to deliver small capsules of information, just-in-time and just when the learner needs it.
- It provides learners with content on the run and when they need it.
- It allows learners to provide you with an update when necessary or if something has changed.
- It keeps the relationship between the trainer and the learner active.
