Chapter 6. Using Hyper-V
Virtualization is no longer a technology reserved for the data center and server administrators. Windows 8 brings a new standard to the client operating system by including a very capable virtualization engine called Hyper-V. Windows 8 enables users to run virtual machines on a system with ease and incredible capabilities. In fact, the Hyper-V technology included with Windows 8 is the same engine as on Windows Server 2012. This feature is available only on Windows 8 Pro and is added as a Windows feature.
