Chapter 8. Configuring security
Security becomes a more important consideration every day. With the changes in technology to combat exploits and enhance security comes the struggle to keep up with new exploits. Administrators must stay up to date on security within their organizations and keep all the Windows 8–based computers in their environments as secure as possible while ensuring that Windows remains easy to use and enables people within the organization to do their work. All the security in the world does little good if an organization cannot achieve its business goals.
This chapter focuses on security and configuring these settings in Windows 8.
