Making Results Sustainable
This may well be the most important chapter in this book. Everything presented in the preceding pages is the result of many years of trial and error, experience, and continuous improvement on the part of myself and my staff. These practices are not difficult or time consuming. They all save time if they are used for the right reason in the right situations. The challenge now is for you to make these practices sustainable in your organization and in your work every day. You will only be able to achieve consistent business results with a model and practices that are sustainable. (See Figure 13.1.)
