Abstract

The 21st century has entered the phase in which progressive development in technology is taking over every nook and corner of society. It is also known as the tech-oriented phase where technology is boundaryless. Smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc., are used by almost everyone. We are witnessing a daily increase in online learning platforms, in which immense learning opportunities can be received through various learning apps and websites. Learners are gearing up to exercise these unlimited options to ensure that they will receive a quality education. Therefore, there is a need to determine the various technological products that will help learners receive a quality education via online learning methods. To do this, various technological products helpful to the education sector are discussed in this chapter; and thereafter PESTLE (political, economic, social, technological, legal, and environmental) analysis will be discussed. This chapter also highlights the benefits of technology in the education sector.
