Study of transliteracy

Approach

Abstract

An approach to the transliteracy study and methodological issues is considered in this chapter. Four research questions focused on uncovering the nature of transliteracy and participants’ experiences of working in transliterate ways. These questions were explored through several transliteracy projects in academic and school settings. In the high school context, data were gathered through iterations of digital storytelling workshops iTell, a gaming project, Level Up, and two transliteracy projects situated in regular classrooms.
