Ciprofloxacin-induced palatal tremor has been described recently (Cheung et al., 2007).
4.6.8 Tremor After a Peripheral Nerve Injury
Tremor after a peripheral nerve injury appears after a lesion of the peripheral nervous system (Costa
et al., 2006). Neurogenic changes may be detected clinically or with neurophysiological investiga-
tions in the territory of the damaged nerve (nerve conduction velocities, needle EMG studies,
somatosensory-evoked potentials). Concomitant dystonia is present in about 30% of the cases.
