Appendix C Some Challenging Problems in Trigonometry
Introduction Most of the problems we present in this section involve concepts from several different parts of the text. These problems are drawn from a variety of areas including distance and area measurement, space science, geometry, inequalities, and even tool-making.
The placement of a problem in a particular section or chapter of the text gives a strong indication of the intended method of solution. The location of this collection of problems will give you no such clue. Keep in mind, there is often more than one correct approach in solving a problem.
