With mobile workforces, things have become more dynamic. Users no longer exclusively take calls from the desk phone dedicated to them in their office. Now they want a greater degree of mobility while maintaining their corporate identity—wherever they are in the enterprise. Device Mobility enables phones to roam between physical locations while still being recognized by the Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) and have calls properly routed both to and from the device in question.
