Description

Learner evaluations given at the end of training programs are often referred to as “smile sheets” because there is a belief that when asked about a training they’ve just attended—and about a facilitator who is likely to see their evaluations—people aren’t always honest and tend to just write some nice things that will make the instructor smile. Referring to these Level 1 evaluations as “smile sheets,” however, does everyone a disservice, because they can be valuable tools when designed and used correctly.
