Your Metastory and Action Map

Once you have gone through the process of discovering your four truths, you need to synthesize it all and define your metastory—what you want to become as a business. It is helpful to actually do this in one physical space. Dedicate a room, preferably with walls you can tack things to, and put everything you have learned up on walls. This will not be pretty. It generally looks like a sticky note delivery truck leveled a magazine stand and then plunged through the side of a Magic Marker factory. It’s messy, and there is stuff everywhere.
