21Team Variations
Since there are many kinds of teams and many kinds of team projects, there must also be many possible variations of the TSP process. This chapter describes the principal variations in the kinds of work that teams do and the ways in which team structure and operation are typically adjusted to address these work variations. Starting with the various kinds of work teams must handle, the chapter reviews the primary dimensions of team variability and how those dimensions are addressed by the TSP.
