The Second Tuesday... And Then Some
I drove into Jeff’s driveway at exactly 6:45 a.m. As I parked the car, I noted he was watering the plants in his flowerbed and listening to music or something through his earbuds.
“What music are you listening to?” I inquired.
“Actually, I’m not listening to music,” Jeff smiled, removing the buds from his ears. “I’m listening to a local talk radio show. I listen to one particular show every day from 6:00 until 7:00. It’s entertainment for me. I usually get a few laughs because the people think they know a lot about everything, but they really don’t know much about anything. Sometimes they get my blood boiling with their political rants. But, enough of their boola-boola,” he said as he turned off the water ...
